Event Description

Everyone is invited to visit the Librarian's garden and to have a look at some of her books, including her birdwatching guide and bug spotting encyclopaedia.

But it's thirsty work reading in the garden and everything starts to go wrong when the librarian shares a drink with the story explorers from her favourite book, Alice in Wonderland. Suddenly everyone finds themselves shrinking and exploring a world of giant mushrooms, enormous insects and huge blooms as they work out how to get back to their normal size.

Book a place for each child attending; accompanying adults don't need to book.

Take part in a sensory experience with the Travelling Librarian. Delve into magical stories with the help of story cases, filled with props and songs.

Children taking part in Story Garden can get a sticker by attending this event.
