Writing Real-Life Characters a workshop with Nicola Werenowska 

 

How do you breathe life into a real life character and make them feel truly alive on the page or stage?

Join award-winning playwright Nicola (Nicky) Werenowska for an interactive writing workshop exploring the art of character development. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced writer looking to sharpen your skills, Nicky will share practical tips, creative techniques, and useful exercises to elevate your work.

Using examples from her own acclaimed productions—including KATHARINE (inspired by the story of Katharine of Aragon, Henry VIII first wife)—Nicky will demonstrate how she takes inspiration from history, memory, and real life to build unforgettable characters.

The workshop is free to attend, but places are strictly limited.
