Join us for an inspiring evening with former British and Commonwealth Champion Bradley Skeete, one of Britain's most successful welterweight boxers. During an outstanding professional career, Bradley won the British, Commonwealth, Southern Area, English, WBA Intercontinental and WBO European welterweight titles, earning a reputation for his technical skill, determination and disciplined approach to the sport. Since retiring from professional boxing in 2022, Bradley has continued to make an impact through coaching and mentoring the next generation of fighters. In this special conversation, he will share his experiences of boxing at the highest level, the importance of discipline and resilience, life as a father, his journey after professional sport, and his work coaching champion female boxers Skye Nicolson and Francesca Hennessy. Funded by the Maldon District Council Thriving Places Grant to support men's mental health across the district, this event is open to everyone. We particularly encourage aspiring female boxers and young people with an interest in sport to come along, hear Bradley's story, ask questions and gain valuable insights from one of the UK's leading boxing coaches.
