Presentation of awards for the winners of the Young Writers’ Challenge 2026 by the brilliant children’s author and comedian James Campbell.
The Young Writers' Challenge is running as part of this year’s Walton Arts Festival and the theme is ‘Beneath the Waves.
Can you imagine a world beneath the Waves?
All entries welcome from writers 18 years and under. This might be a short story, comic, or poem. Prizes will be awarded for the funniest, spookiest, and most imaginative writing that relate to the theme.
