This June is National Crime Reading Month. As the Crime Writers’ Association celebrates its 70th anniversary, we present: Behind The Covers Of Crime!

We have four events taking place in our libraries across the county with Essex based authors Julia Stone, Michael Heath, Rosie Sandler and David Evans.

The events will start with a panel discussion explaining the basics of crime writing in various genres, highlighting techniques and methods of approach and talking about the challenges of creating stories. This will be followed by a question and answer session where the audience will be invited to join the conversation.
