Event Description
A 4 week non-accredited introductory course to British Sign language.
The course will be led by Janice Dey who is an experienced BSL Interpreter and Tutor who holds a Level 4 BSL qualification.
On this course you will learn how to communicate and understand a simple conversation covering a range of topics in everyday life.
The course will cover
• About deafness and BSL
• Fingerspelling
• Numbers/time/months/colours/
• Food and drink
• Family
• Weather
• Lipreading
• Non-manual features and handshapes.
