The Mental Health Support Teams presents Me and My Feelings  Workshop

Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) work across education and healthcare, supporting children and young people to understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

The Colour Monster is a children’s story about a little monster who feels all mixed up inside because he doesn’t understand his emotions. A young girl helps him to sort his feelings by connecting each emotion to a different colour. By placing each feeling into its own jar, he begins to understand himself better and feels less confused.

This story supports children to recognise, name, and talk about emotions in a simple, visual, and creative way. The interactive workshop provides a gentle introduction to emotional awareness and self-regulation for children and their carers.
