Volunteering at your local primary school supporting children's reading is immensely rewarding. Four workshops at Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone Libraries will give volunteers a thorough grounding in what's required.

These workshops will be delivered by a qualified teacher with experience in providing one-to-one support for children learning to read. The workshops are informal and relaxed, giving volunteers the opportunity to share their skills and experience, learning new skills along the way.

Refreshments will be provided.
