Join award-winning poet and artist Jake Nathan for a fun and inspiring creative writing and spoken word workshop this summer. Primarily aimed at children aged 5 to 11, this free session will explore the musicality of language, helping young people discover how rhythm, rhyme and performance can bring words to life. Drawing connections between poetry, reading and rap, Jake will encourage participants to experiment with storytelling, creativity and self-expression in an engaging and supportive environment.

Jake Nathan is an award-winning poet and performer from East London who loves sharing the joy of words, stories and spoken word. A multiple-time poetry slam winner and Grand Poetry Slam Champion, Jake has performed at festivals and events across the country and featured on BBC Radio. His fun, interactive workshops encourage children and families to explore their creativity, build confidence and discover how exciting language can be. From catchy rhymes to amazing stories, children will have the chance to explore words in a fun and interactive way. 

No previous writing experience is needed, just bring your imagination and get ready to create, perform and have fun!
